THE INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY FOR PRODUCTION ENGINEERING

In 2023, the Scientific Technical Committee on Machines (STC “M”) had two meetings. The first was in Paris, France on February 24, 2023 during the Winter Meetings of CIRP. The second was held in Dublin, Ireland on August 26, 2022, during the CIRP General Assembly.

STC “M” Meeting in Paris on February 24, 2023

This meeting took place in-person, with 75 attendees. The distribution was: 24 Fellows, 18 Associate Members, 20 Corporate Members, 2 Research Affiliates, and 11 Guests.

The following technical contributions, progress for future keynotes were presented and discussed. Essays for CIRP’s upcoming publication, CIRP Novel Topics in Production Engineering (CNTPE), were also discussed.
