CIRP School Sessions are either independent events or in conjunction with other CIRP events, and are aimed to attract young and promising scientists in manufacturing engineering.
The main characteristics of CIRP School Sessions are the following:
- Duration: 5 days typical, possibly shorter if linked to another CIRP event;
- Attendance: PhD students, post-docs, Corporate Members, Research Affiliates, no restriction to other categories; cap on registrations set by the organiser based on available facilities to ensure efficient and dynamic teaching.
- Content and structure:
o Focus on specific manufacturing topics, including cross-cutting emerging ones.
o Dynamic learning approach, ideally a mix between classes and lab/hand on practices.
CIRP Fellows wanting to apply to organise a CIRP School session should download and submit the Request Form ideally 18 months in advance.
