Main activities of the company :

Research Centre of Manufacturing Technology (RCMT) focuses on machine tool related research & development activities. Its core activity is research in the field of machine tool design and cutting technologies. In addition to this, RCMT provides support to R&D activities of commercial companies, especially machine tool producers.

Interest in CIRP cooperative research on

Machine tool design - advanced modelling and optimization of machine tools and their components, such as main structural parts, spindles, feed drives, control systems, etc.

Machining technology - machining of difficult-to-cut materials (alloy steel, hardened steel, titanium alloys, nickel alloys); machining of new materials (fiber reinforced thermoplastics).
