Some explanations for our Members:

REGISTRATION

Register: to be able to log in and see pages dedicated to CIRP Members only, Members must first click on "Register" in the "CIRP Member Login" space, and follow the instructions.

Password and Username: you choose them yourself and can change them at any time in your Profile, once you have registered (click on UPDATE at the top of your profile).

The CIRP Secretariat is acting as "the Moderator" to approve your registration online. No approval will be given to non-members.

Forgot your Password? Click on "forgot password" in the Login space, and you will receive at once a new password (that you can then modify in your profile).

MEMBERS AREAS

Once you have logged in, please go to the Main Menu and discover more Sub-Menus
only dedicated to CIRP Members: GA Reports and Minutes, Forms to download, Elections space, Research Tracks/STCs/Collaborative Working Groups' Agendas and Minutes, online access to the former Annals, various classifications of Registered Members Lists and access to all the Members' Profiles, the CIRP Directory, and lastly, you will get into the Forum space for discussions with other members.

PROFILE and MEMBERS LISTS

Please fill up all the pages of your profile: they will replace the online Directory in the future.

Fill up or update your Profile: You can enter into your Profile by clicking directly on "My Profile" in the "Quick links" space. On the top of your profile, click on "UPDATE" to fill it up or to modify any information; also click on Update your image to insert your picture.

Connections. You can see another heading at the top of your Profile called "Connections". There you can record other members' profiles you wish to have direct access to, so as to get your own "contact list": go to the members' profiles you wish to add to your connections and click on "Connections / Add Connection".

Email address: your email address, either available to the public site or restricted to CIRP Members, will never be shown online in order to keep confidentiality and avoid spams in your mailbox.
In the various Members Lists, you have direct links to the Members' emails, phone numbers and URLs.
You can also send directly a Message to a Member from his Profile.
By adding Profiles in your "Connections", you will have direct access to those Profiles from your own Profile's connections.

General Information: this page in your profile is for the CIRP Secretariat's internal use only and is visible by yourself and the Secretariat only.

Keywords in your profile: Enumerate the three keywords describing your activities, separated by comas – as you already did for the CIRP Directory.

Public List: In your profile, you are able to choose if your Name, Organization, Country, Email (with the address hidden) and URL(s) should be visible to all visitors, or only restricted to CIRP Members: you just have to click on "Not in the public list" if you want to keep it restricted to Members. Please click on "Public Members Lists" in the Main Menu in order to see what is being public on the profile if you do not click on "Not in the public list".

Registered Members Lists: Through the "Registered Members Lists", visible only to logged members, you will see the same information as in the CIRP Directory. All other private information is kept confidential by the CIRP Secretariat.

Websites URLs: we encourage you to give the name of your University or Company under the link of your Main Website (URL) in order to give a nicer presentation in the various members' lists. It is the same for your Laboratory URL and Personal Home Page URL.
You can have a look at Prof. Dumur's Profile as an example.

FORUM

Discussions: You can post questions or have discussions in the Forum space.
Rules: You will find some instructions in "Rules" to run the Forum.

SEARCH ON THE SITE

If you have logged in, you can type any subject in Search on the site, it will show you all the existing pages related to that subject.
If you have no login access, it will show you pages open to visitors on the public site only.

PRINT OR SEND A PAGE

You will see at the top of each page two icons, giving you the availability to either print the page under pdf format, or send it by email to someone.
